mission accomplished

When sell-out games sell out! Eventually managed to score a copy without having to resort to very real actual crime delivered to you in ultra high definition. No sir this is a legitimate acquisition, now to play it. Excuse me while I book the rest of my life off.

blasting the past

Playing through the admittedly inferior PS2 version of the original Deus Ex, over a decade later and its still got a fuckton of atmosphere. The kind of mood and tone other games still grasp at. A masterpiece.

in the event of silence

If it sounds rather quiet around here its because I am multi-tasking like the proverbial mofo elsewhere, dropping words like they're hot etc at the following outlets, well I say words, there are pictures too. Check it out at my Google+ page as well as my Tumblr blog. More soon.

eternal takeover of a twisted mind

So here I am thinking that I should really, really write more. That I am thinking far too much about the writing bit without doing the doing bit that is writing itself. Had this book in my head for longer than I care to remember. So many notes, so many random notes, so many random notes that are now crumpled up pieces of paper residing in the bin next to my desk. Part of it is a 'life' thing, too much of it getting in the way. But that sounds like an excuse, even to me. So I better get on it.

rebooting the brain

Playing the ill-received reboot of Syndicate, plays well and is full of cyberpunk eye candy. Had it been pitched more a spinoff than a reboot, the world might have been a tad kinder to it.
