So another summer is winding down around us. The days incrementally getting a little shorter and a little cooler. H ardly in what you might call 'Autumn' territory but there is that sense that it's not too far away now. Gaming wise its been a fairly relaxed few months, been keeping it steady if not busy. As such I have been leisurely making my way through Ghost of Tsushima . As much for the sights and sounds as for the stylish swordplay on offer. When it comes time for this year's inevitable round-up, I think this game will feature prominently amongst my highlights. Styled upon old samurai films, its a visually lavish experience which really makes me want to stop and enjoy the view when I'm not striking down my foes in martial combat. Feels like it's been a while since I've done one of these and with the launch of a certain blockbuster mega hit in a few months time it feels like an ideal time to highlight the music of Grand Theft Auto . Everyone's favourite anarchy and crime simulator that has grown over time to become the muscular behemoth it is today. Not bad going for the little Scottish game studio that was once upon a time, not bad going at all. Now unlike most games I've looked at in this ongoing but infrequent series, Grand Theft Auto leans into real world music a lot. So job done I guess just insert a bunch of radio hits from Grand Theft Auto V and be done with it. But no I think its worth some careful consideration here.
