Finished Blazblue's story mode tonight. At least I think I did, sorta, maybe. Well the end credits started rolling, that's always a clue. But the bit before that. Well it seemed to be an ending to something anyway. I'm entirely unclear on what exactly concluded only that it came to an end.

Free to play games. Free. To. Play. All of the game at none of the price. Delivered to you the player. In instalments. Of money. Free to play games, the games that are anything but free. Games that please nobody save those who are free and easy with the contents of their wallet.  The price of anything and the value of nothing comes to mind like an oncoming vehicle of poor game design.

In the latest of a string of posts where not much free time equals not much Dave to go around, tonight is no exception. That said its time to bring you yet another example of the nebulous concept that is the internet celebrity with an episode of Unskippable from those cool cats behind Loading Ready Run . You know what my output has been like for the past few weeks? Well these guys are like the opposite of that, all the time.

This might just be the greatest thing ever in the history of the last five minutes. The Flash in Lego I tell you. The. Flash. In. Lego. In case it wasn't evident I love Lego I do. Toys and worlds you can build, its like Minecraft before there was a Minecraft. Or maybe Minecraft is just catching up.

Well it only took me, what? 3 years, 2 months and give or take a couple of days to get to this, post 100 people. Remember where you were and so on. Granted only a fraction of that was comprised of actual regular honest-to-goodness blogging but still, its good to think I've stuck with it if not always consistently. Makes me wish I actually had something more to blog about tonight, like maybe an actual list of favourite games that I have been alluding to lately but alas its still under construction. All those badly written jokes don't write themselves, no that's all me.

Don't be fooled by the meme above there's actual content in this blog update tonight, not much of it but enough to be sure. Still putting together that oft-mentioned but never seen list of my favourite games. It's taking shape, materialising out of the formless ether of memory.
